VIDEO-INSTALLATION CHILHOOD SCENES

Among the highlights of the exhibit are the video-installations displayed in two 3m x 3.5m screens, with recorded statements by the artist and poetic images of an infancy increasingly distant in modern times. 

Art workshops with children and adults with special needs, and their reaction to being able to touch the work were registered in a sensible and delicate way, evidencing the relationship of carefulness and respect the artist has towards them.

Step by step, Sandra Guinle allows the audience to monitor the entire execution of a sculpture, from modeling on clay to the final work in bronze, showing its entire creation process through the lost wax. 

The two video-installations have captions in English, in order to also reach the foreign audience, since the artist speaks of a sentiment of loss that is not hers alone, but certainly of anyone passing and being moved by seeing himself portrayed in each work; a little something from a time when being happy was simpler, and the biggest obligation of the child was to be a child.
